The Voting Game
* If the game runs poorly make sure your browser has "Hardware Acceleration" enabled
* Additionally, the game might take a bit to load the first time
It's February 2021 and a dilemma is afoot. Joseph Anderson needs to figure out what games he should stream next. Hijinks ensue, as a community event comedically spirals into a tale filled with twists and tragedy. A dramatised retelling of a "real" story.
Made for the JADS Game Jam 2023, following the theme "stirring the pot". The theme is incorporated as Joe was a proficient pot stirrer when it came to baiting and destroying the hopes of all Fire Emblem fans nationwide.

This is precisely how the voting game went. A wonderfully faithful recreation of the struggle and despair that had befallen the Three Houses, and their resulting triumph.
I was on the haters side during the game, but even I felt my heart sink when I saw that there was no way to save Fire Emblem.
I love the concept, but for some reason my browser really dislikes this one; not sure what the trouble is.
UPDATED: I got it working using another browser. Still some visual glitches but a lot of fun and great use of voice clips
Sometimes WebGL games struggle a bit if the browser doesn't have "Hardware Acceleration" enabled, but it might also just be because of all the art assets. Thanks for playing!
I got it to work, though I was getting weird glitches where visual elements didn't align- this was especially noticeable on the tutorial, though it was more of an issue when I didn't notice(until too late) where the culling line looked to be above the text but was below it.
in the beginning there was only the veldt
